Hi, it’s K**, loyal patient! I just wanted to follow up with Dr. Reichel and her assistant (from the last visit) to let them know that the retin-a .05 is definitely taking effect.

Today, thankfully, I don’t have to work because my face is super-peely but the skin underneath this layer of dead skin cells is definitely improving (fingers crossed). I washed my face yesterday morning and a large number of milia rinsed off. I will have to cut back now as my face is really dry but I think it is doing the job. I don’t know if it is coincidence, but because I was also concerned about discoloration due to the healing process of the bumps, I added Obagi “Clear” back into my routine a couple of days ago and that is when I really started to see a difference. Don’t get me wrong, these flakes are hideous but I think my skin is going to be looking okay again in a few days.

I just returned from my visit with Dr. Reichel for Juvederm and Botox treatments for my under eye bags.  I wanted to leave you a comment regarding what a wonderful experience I had.  I was a little nervous going into this, courtesy of horror stories I had read online from patients who had seen other doctors.  Dr. Reichel made my procedure much easier than expected and quite pleasant.  I can’t remember a time when my eyes looked this refreshed!  Being only 24 and having people tell me I look like I’m in my 30’s because of the terrible bags and dark circles under my eyes is very disheartening.  I feel like I’ve gained back that bit of self confidence I once lost many years ago, all thanks to you Dr. Reichel.  Thank you so much, I will be back!

Dr. Reichel and Staff at Pacific Dermatology & Cosmetic Center,

Even though I filled out the patient questionnaire this morning after my appointment, I wanted to clearly tell you how glad I was to come in for an appointment today. I want to thank you for the professional and comfortable clinic that you’ve created and also compliment you on your outstanding staff! They were all very kind, helpful and knowledgable…every one of them…. and they didn’t make me feel like I was just a number. All of my questions were clearly answered and when I chatted with Noel at the end of the visit…that was the icing on the cake! She took her time and explained about products that would be helpful to me and gave me more laser aftercare suggestions. I was so impressed with all of you! I hope someone asks me if I know of a good dermatologist or place for cosmetic procedures soon…as you and your clinic are on the top of my list! Thank you! :- )

Hello Dr. Reichel…….I thought I should touch base with you since my last appointment.  I saw you last July 2010 for treatment of my Syringomas with the Fraxel laser; after a couple weeks of healing I came in for a follow-up.  Neither of us were particulary satisfied with the results as the syringomas were still pronounced.  You offered another round of treatment but I haven’t followed up on that, yet. I just wanted you to know that after a year, the tumors have reduced in size significantly. Having looked at a picture from a couple of years ago, the difference is quite noticable. I figured you’d be interested in hearing of this. Also, I still plan on getting another round of treatment – maybe in a year. Thank you so much for your help and excellent care.  N.Y.

I have been wondering how you are doing. Thank you so much for the follow-up email. That is super that your syringomas have gotten less noticeable. I remember very clearly how you looked at the follow-up appointment. They say it can take 6 months to a year to really see the results of the resurfacing laser – so that’s great to hear that yours are so much smaller.

 

Again thanks for the email. It is always valuable to hear from my patients. I look forward to seeing you again for another round of treatment when you are ready. I will always honor the follow-up treatment cost for you (even if it is in 4 years).

Thank you for helping me with my melasma

Dr. Reichel,

A personal “thank-you” for helping me through a very self-conscious time in my life.  When you find out you’re pregnant, you are beyond elated, then suddenly not everything about pregnancy is all its cracked up to be; in my case Melasma, or what you call it, “Pregnancy Mask”.  I never would have expected to see the results that I did after having just one treatment with the Fraxel Dual laser.  Its a relatively painless laser treatment start to finish, and I appreciated all of the information I was given before and after by your staff.  My skin looks so much better, I can’t wait to have my second treatment and watch the rest of it disappear.  And of course, as recommended by you, I will always be aware of the sun and wear my sunscreen!

Dear Dr. Reichel and Staff,

               Thank you for the great care and skill you showed me on my recent Mohs surgery.  I came in to the procedure a little nervous, but quickly realized I didn’t need to worry.  Everyone in your office treated me so nice and I appreciated the follow up phone calls.  Hopefully I won’t need more surgeries but if I do I know I will be in “good hands”

Hello Dr. Reichel & your wonderful nurses,

I woke up this morning and there were mood lines singing to the tune of “You Were Always On My Mind”……………………..

Fast forward to my decision to have a Botox treatment done.  I don’t miss my forehead wrinkles and I really don’t miss the ones around my eyes.  Thanks so much – I’m really looking forward to the CO2 laser procedure this winter.

               This is just a short note of appreciation for fitting me into the schedule last Wednesday to have my stitch removed (facial) and for the generosity of your decision to do so at No cost to me.  The person who tended to me was so quick and efficient, it was over before I even had a chance to warm the chair up I was sitting on.

I want to thank you so very much for the consistently fantastic work you do.   I am always so happy with my results.  Last night I was out with my girlfriends & they complimented me on how great my skin looks! Whoa!  It was so unexpected, I just about fell off my chair, so I’m passing the compliment on to you.  You guys are a fantastic team.  Dr. Reichel – Your skills are very impressive, Elle-  You are a ray of Sunshine.  I love coming there and I always leave feeling wonderful !  Looking forward to more great procedures !
