As Seen On Dr. Oz: Solta Dual Laser
Dr. Jennifer Reichel & Dr. Laurie Jacobson of Pacific Dermatology & Cosmetic Center treat patients with the Solta Dual Laser or Fraxel Dual Laser as it's also called. The Dual, when used as a Sun Damage Laser Treatment, offers amazing results with discoloration and pigmentation. It is also FDA approved to help remove pre-cancerous skin problems, also called actinic keratosis (AKs).
You first apply a topical anesthetic to the face, or area, being treated; then apply the Solta Dual laser with several passes, generally taking no more than 20-30 minutes. Apply ice packs for about 10 minutes immediately afterward and then head home; you can expect minimal downtime, which will include facial redness and swelling. Dr. Oz says, this is money definitely well spent on this Sun Damage Treatment!
