Botox for wrinkles on the nose and between the eyebrows
Dear Dr. Reichel: I have recently noticed these "lines" on either side of my nose that I used to think were cute, but now do not seem to go away. I've also been told by my friends that the line in between my eyes makes me look angry. Is Botox the right treatment to use for these areas?
Botox works great for lines on the nose and between the eyebrows. The lines on the nose are called the "bunny lines", and the lines between the brows are often referred to as "the 11's). This area of treatment is called the glabella. Typically, it takes 20 to 25 units to treat the glabella, and only 2 to 5 units to treat the "bunny lines". It can all be done at the same time, and can give really fabulous results. I recommend starting botox treatments as soon as your wrinkles become "static" - meaning when you start to see them when your face is at rest. Please call my office to schedule a time to come in and see me, 206.859.5777, I look forward to meeting with you.
