Dysport is an excellent option for the treatment of moderate to severe frown lines on the forehead, between the eyebrows, and around the eyes. These particular wrinkles are not always an indicator of age, but can simply be the result of an expressive face. Repeated movements and muscle contractions from facial expressions leave lines, even in younger adults. Dysport targets specific muscles and allows the untreated muscles in your face to move freely so that you can still express yourself. No frozen faces with this treatment. Results are safe and effective, the procedure is performed quickly with no downtime, and Dysport has few side effects.
What is Dysport?
Like Botox, Dysport is a botulinum toxin type A protein injectable and works in a similar fashion to temporarily prevent muscle contraction. Dysport is approved in 57 countries for the treatment of glabellar lines (frown lines between and above your eyebrows) and has 25 years of clinical experience worldwide. Dysport smooths the skin for a younger looking appearance without sacrificing your natural facial expressions. And because Dysport delivers the natural-looking results people want, 97% of users say they’d do it again.
Results: How Long Does it Last?

How is the Procedure Performed?
While each patient is unique, the procedure is generally performed in 10-20 minutes by the physician, nurse injector or physician assistant at PD&CC. We inject a single dose equally among five specific facial muscles between and above the eyebrows. Dysport temporarily prevents muscle contractions that cause frown lines, leaving the rest of your face to move naturally.
WHO IS a candidate?
Men and women under age 65 who wish to treat expression lines on the forehead, between the brows, and around the eyes are good candidates for Dysport. Smoothing of these moderate to severe frown lines will result in a more youthful appearance without changing the look or movement of the rest of the face. Dysport is not recommended for children or women who are pregnant or nursing or for those with a milk allergy. Patients should be in good health and should not have a neuromuscular disorder.
