What is FaceTite?
FaceTite is a minimally invasive procedure that is a great alternative to a surgical facelift. Using RF energy, FaceTite smooths fine lines and wrinkles, lifts sagging skin, and eliminates excess fat to sharpen your facial contours. With just one treatment, you can enjoy a rejuvenated look with restored youthfulness. Dr. Jennifer Reichel is our only provider offering FaceTite in our state-of-the-art surgical suite.
How Does FaceTite Work?
Like BodyTite, FaceTite uses RFAL technology (radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis) to tighten loose skin and dissolve stubborn fat. The small wand that generates and applies this heat energy is often inserted just under the chin to lift sagging skin along the jawline, under the chin, and cheeks. The applied heat will melt fat cells and stimulate collagen production and skin contraction to tighten skin and improve skin laxity.
What Areas Does FaceTite Treat?
FaceTite works best on areas of the lower face and neck.
What Can I Expect During Treatment?
To start your FaceTite treatment, local anesthesia will be injected into the treatment area. Next, a tiny incision will be made in an easily concealable spot under the chin or around the ears. A small wand that generates the RF technology will be inserted through this incision to tighten the deep connective tissues and melt stubborn fat. The wand has built-in temperature sensors so that the procedure is safe for the delicate tissues on your face.
A benefit of this minimally invasive treatment is the limited recovery time. Mild swelling is normal after FaceTite, but you can return to all your normal activities within 2 days. A compression garment may be applied to your face to minimize swelling and you can also apply a cold compress as needed to alleviate discomfort during the first few days after treatment.
How Long Does FaceTite Last?
Within a few days after the FaceTite procedure, you will see smoother skin and some improvements. Your skin will continue to tighten as collagen rebuilds over the next few months. Most patients see continued improvements for 6-12 weeks with results that last for years.
