Patients may often feel self-conscious and awkward while attending a social event.
A few things to know
Treatment for controlling excessive sweating: There are various treatment options to cure you of hyperhidrosis. Botox injections can be given in your armpits so that the nerves that are producing the sweat can be blocked. This technique can treat excessive sweating for up to 8 months for each injection given. On the other hand, a permanent solution can be the use of Ultherapy for the treatment of hyperhidrosis. An ultrasonic energy is used for destroying the activity of the sweat gland as a part of this procedure. Focused sound waves are used for targeting the depth of your skin that is the location of your sweat glands.
